Overview
- There’s nothing stopping us!
- There is no law of nature that prevents principled people from voluntarily working together to build a civilised, just, and prosperous society without coercing others.
- We choose to give our power away, and can choose to stop doing so.
- There are many ways to achieve the transition from the coercive status quo to a free society, and the pace of change should be neither too fast nor too slow.
- We can voluntarily fund what coercive taxation currently does.
- Until then, the final services we should cease to fund via taxation are policing, courts and national defence, given that these are the deterrents against the aggressors that we must expect and prepare for.
While there is no centralised plan for world peace, there is a community
- There is a community of people who share a vision for a peaceful world guided by the 3L Philosophy.
- In this community you’ll meet like-minded people. From conversations with those like-minded people you may have ideas of what you personally can do.
- A good first step is to join the Movement. There are no costs and plenty of benefits.
- Further still, you could train to be an Ambassador, to become a leader of the Movement.
General steps for implementing world peace
- Win a generalised agreement on the meaning of the Legal Principle described by the phrase ‘live and let live’.
- Fashion the necessary laws to consistently implement and apply that Principle to all the various factual situations life presents.
- Build the mechanisms needed to enforce those laws and to peacefully resolve the inevitable good-faith disputes between people that will arise.
